On Monday, when I went to play, I could not find any saves (in fact, no load button). After browsing online a bit, I found that the path to the savegames folder is Documents/Anno 2070/Accounts/accountname/savegames. I browsed to that location, and it was totally empty. I started multiple new games, attempted to save in each game, and each time it has created no new save files. I am stumped! Below are the steps I've tried to take already (each done individually): * Restarted PC * Reinstalled, entirely, Anno 2070 * Set Anno5.exe to run as Admin * Set Anno5.exe to run as Windows 8 Compatibility * Disabled Cloud syncing within uplay * Tried to disable readonly on the Anno 2070 folder For the last one, I noticed that the Anno 2070 folder in documents, and all its children folders, are readonly! I don't know if that's normal, but every time I uncheck that and save/close the properties window, it gets turned back on by the time I look again.

I do wonder if that has something to do with it. Also, every time I exit the game, the last thing it does is give the 'Anno5.exe has stopped working' windows thingy.

I had read online that the saving may actually take place upon closing the game, so that could be it as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
